Each year I host two events, one in the early spring and one in the late summer for brides to experience the floral delights from Gertie Mae's, our local florist, along with a few of our cakes to taste and other services from local vendors. Don't miss out on this fun event and please bring a friend.
We recommend that your Wedding date and reception site have been selected prior to making an appointment with us. Wedding cake consultations include a complimentary tasting for two of specialty cakes fillings and frostings. Each client is asked to bring any ideas they may have for their cake, as well as inspirations for the Wedding flowers, dresses, table decorations, etc... It is also very helpful for us to know the space in which the reception will take place. Any design ideas, no matter how limited are helpful in giving us an idea of your dream cake. Together we create a design that is elegant and beautiful and compliments the tone of your wedding. The perfect wedding cake is a true collaboration between client and designer. If you are unable to meet with me personally I can offer consultations via phone or email.
We are nestled in the beautiful northeast Georgia mountains. A few years ago I found myself working weddings with a good friend at Glen-Ella Springs Inn. The chef there at the time asked me to make his wedding cake, and that was the beginning of my love for designing and creating cakes for clients. Watts Farmhouse was officially launched in the spring of 2005. I love what I do and I hope you enjoy it.
